What does Paraiba International do?

Paraiba International has been a specialist in the online gemstone and jewelry business since 2005. We specialize in the trade of precious and semi-precious stones, as well as jewelry design and manufacturing for countries all around the world. 


Do you have a physical store? Are all orders placed over the internet?

What services do you offer?

Paraiba International offers a full range of genuine, natural mined gemstones of the precious and semi-precious variety. We have a vast inventory of fine gemstone-set jewelry, including rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets from a number of prominent designers. Paraiba also offers custom jewelry design and manufacturing services on demand.


What if I need to place a custom order that is not listed in your inventory?

We do have inventory that is not listed on our site. For specific gemstone requests, contact us and we will do our best to source it for you as soon as possible.


From where do you source your gemstones?

We select and import all our gemstones ourselves straight from their country of origin. Our specimens are sourced from Brazil, Mozambique, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong, to name a few.


How do I know if the gemstones I receive are authentic?

Paraiba provides a complete Identification Report for every gemstone, which includes its variety, weight in carats, dimensions, clarity, cutting, treatment, origin and hardness. We can also provide independent laboratory certificates from Gubellin, GIA (Gemological Institute of America), and AGL (American Gemological Laboratories) on request.


Do you buy gemstones?

No, we do not buy gemstones from the public.


When will my order ship?

All shipments are processed and sent out for delivery within 1-2 days of purchase. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination.


Where do you ship?

Paraiba International ships to all locations within the US as well as international locations on a daily basis. We use Federal Express for the majority of our shipments.


Do I need to sign for my package?

Yes, all our shipments require a signature upon delivery. You must be available in person to receive your order.


How do I track my shipment?

Once the order has been placed, we will email you with your unique federal express tracking number as soon as it is generated.


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also accept payments through, Google Pay and PayPal.We also accept wire transfers.. please contact us if you'd like to utilize this option.


What if I want to ship to a different address?

All client details, including the shipping address, must match the authorization information on the credit card used. If you would like to ship to a non-confirmed address, please reach out to us at info@paraibainternational and we will help you resolve the issue.


Do I need to purchase any insurance for my package? 

No, all our packages are fully insured.


What is your returns policy? Will I need to pay for shipping?

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a refund, store credit or an exchange. If you would like to return your purchase, please contact us no later than 7 days after receipt of the shipment. After day 7, the item is no longer returnable.  To start the returns process, please email our customer service team at The item should be secured in its original packaging before shipment.  

Note: All return shipping charges shall be borne by the client. We recommend that you use a trackable method to facilitate your return.


How do I get a refund on my order?

After receiving and inspecting your return, our team will begin processing the refund. Please allow for at least 5 business days from the receipt of your return to process the refund. It may take 1-2 billing cycles for your refund to reflect in your credit card statement, depending on your provider.


What if I receive a damaged or defective product?

At Paraiba, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. In case you receive damaged or defective products, please contact our customer support team to arrange a full refund or exchange.


Can I get a refund on custom designed jewelry?

No, custom jewelry cannot be returned or exchanged. However, we will do our best to accommodate any alterations you require upon request.


Are your photographs reliable?

Our gemstones are photographed in high-quality studio setting in bright daylight with a macro lens to capture every detail. Upon your request, we can also provide up to more images of a gemstone or jewelry item from different angles to assure you of the authenticity and quality of your prospective purchase.
