Buying a gemstone, either online or in person, can be a scary proposition.  It's important to trust the gemologist that you're buying the gemstone from.  But it's also helpful to have certificate of authenticity from the company that you're buying from as well.  And as an added level of security, you may want to obtain a certificate from an accredited independent laboratory, especially if you're buying a higher value gemstone.   Below are the certificates that are available to you:
